I had surgery (microdiscectomy L5-S1 ) 3 years ago. It was going well but my back started hurting again after these years. So I wanted a good chair that had a firm back and neck support. So I ordered this. I just got it and I am instantly in love with this thing. It was very easy to assemble; took like 20 minutes. You just follow the instructions to the word and you will have no problem.I like to lean all the way back and insert myself almost inside the table frame (everything down my navel is inside the table extremities) . This chair feels super comfortable while doing that. The neck pillow, however, needs continuous adjustments. Others might not like it, but I like it this way because it makes me move every now and then.This has good back support as well. The seat is kinda slippered but the readjustment time is pretty long (30,40 mins). So I might even stand up and stretch a bit. Bought this for the wifey and her new office in the sun room. She wanted an office chair and I recommend to her to get a gaming chair as it is essentially the same but better in some aspects. We looked here on Amazon and yes, there was lots of choices. This one caught my eyes with its large and sitting and reclining support. Boy is this chair big and quite heavy too. The chair was fairly easy to assemble and looks great. The back is high and the pillow is in just the right spot. When you lay the back down its a great almost level comfortable angle. The cushioning is nice and thick and the material is very sift and pliable. This is a great chair that needs just a few tweaks.The negatives are that the seat itself is completely flat and feels like you could slide right off especially when you use the lumbar pillow.I may try to fix this by adding 1/2" spacers on the front of the seat attachment. As I stated earlier the lumbar attachment is bulky and takes a ton of room so that is not being used in my case. The back is NOT spring loaded and the chair does not rock at all.
