The cushions are of premium quality, are very comfortable, and do not loose form\/leave body prints and contours over time as some memory foam cushions tend to. The controls are easy and as you would expect, one lever for height and another for the angle of the backrest.The white suede was a daunting selection to make, knowing that keeping it clean would be necessary and take at least some effort. The fabric does tend to pick up blue from denim jeans and will absolutely show everything that is spilled on it - I would suggest a spray-on fabric protectant for suede, or purchasing a separate chair cover you can launder when necessary.The chair comes with an extendible footrest that is made of the same cusion material\/suede. It is very comfortable to use (using it as I type this). However, for my height I would appreciate a few inches more extension for the foot\/leg rest as my feet and ankles overhang the fully extended rest by a few inches which can lead to discomfort after 20 minutes or so.
