UPDATE REVIEW AUGUST 21, 2025I wrote a review about this battery, and now I'm embarrassed. I think it was operator error! Amazon sent me a replacement, and so did Anker... and they all had the same "problem". The problem was that the display went black after 30 seconds, no matter how I was charging it.... USB, Outlet, Solar... whatever. I thought that these batteries were not charging when the display went black, so I unplugged and replugged, only to have the same thing happen again. What was really happening is that the display was set to turn off after 30 seconds! I was being a "helicopter parent" and monitoring the battery so I didn't realize that it was still charging with the display being black!! I'm so sorry for having left the 1 star review previously.Anyway, one other issue remains - all 3 of the batteries were DOA (0%)... and the 2nd battery I managed to charge to 50%, only to find it in the 30% range the next morning. I just got the 3rd battery today, and I'll update my review accordingly if it holds the charge. If it does, this is actually an amazing battery because I really love how it shows the percentage in the hundredths and how it shows the wattage of the charge. I like the form factor, and the fact that it can charge via USB as well as wall. Sorry, Anker for being a dummy!My Previous Review:I bought one of these hoping to charge it with a solar panel. I plugged it in, and it shut off after about 30 seconds. I tried all the ports on my solar panel, and then tried another one. No matter what I tried, it did not work. I next got the bright idea to try and charge it via the USB port using a power bank (thinking I could charge the old power bank with solar and then use the power bank to charge this battery). No luck using the power bank! Then I tried the wall charger. I tried my outlet then I tried an Anker 40W charger. Still no luck. I tried using the included wire which is USB-C, and a USB-A to USB-C wire. Nothing. So I contacted Anker. They said that this is THE ONLY battery they have that works with solar. Then they said in the same conversation that their batteries do not work with solar. OK. They had me return it via Amazon, and I got a new one the next day (good job, Amazon!) When it arrived, I skipped testing with solar, as that is kind of a wildcard. Plus it was night time. Instead, I went straight to test it using the USB port. Shut off after 30 seconds each time. I tried all the different wires, different ports, USB-A, USB-C whatever. Nothing. Two in a row that can't charge via USB? I don't think I got a defective device because it happened with two of these. I think it is a mistake in the design.Update: I just tried plugging it into the wall and it STOPS CHARGING IN THE WALL ALSO! What are the chances that I get two defective devices back-to-back? It makes me leery of trying a 3rd one. I want to like this charger so much - I think that the charging speed and percentage (in hundredths) is so cool... Arrived uncharged. A few minutes of AC plug charge brought it from 0% to 8% and then that charged my phone a few minutes (percentage is inaccurate). Would not charge phone while charging bank by USB, but would simultaneously charge phone and bank by AC. Gave a warning message when attempting to charge by both AC and USB, because combination would exceed 65W charge limit. This is space saving travel charger that is ideal for rapid AC charging, but it isn't useful if wanting to charge by USB while also drawing by USB (like an INIU bank can do). I own many Anker products and this one may be my favorite. The ability to plug this into the wall to recharge it is so simple and obvious that I don’t know why more battery banks like this don’t have this feature. Speaking of the charging, this thing charges off the wall very fast. It delivers at a reasonable speed as well. The design is nice although one might worry about the scratches that over time may show on the exterior “glass” of the product. The construction and build quality on this product is solid. The screen and the information it shares is a nice touch. The user interface matches the style and function that existing Anker customers have come to expect from their other product lines. The screen can be turned off or set on a timer and the user configurability of this is a nice feature. The single button functionality and design for this power bank makes this a simple to use product. No guessing or having to remember “long presses” or “double presses” to make this little box deliver power.Overall this is a great solution if you’re looking to carry one charger for travel and not carry a huge bag of various chargers. This also comes with a quality braided Anker USB C power cable. The price is right for this device given its power, size, and portability. Customers may consider purchasing a case for this, even though it comes with a nice cloth drawstring bag for protection.Leer másLeer menos

The battery pack works great. I was able to charge my iPhone 12 mini from 15% to 100% in about 45 minutes with only 16% reduction in the battery's charge. The built-in wall charger is very convenient (no need for a usb converter plug). The battery has a solid, heavy feel to it which makes you think it can take a little rough handling despite the small-ish form factor. This battery will be handy on long flights and work out great for our upcoming overseas trip. The only thing that would make it perfect for me would be to have a USB-A port for my old devices' cords that I still use.Leer másLeer menos

I charged this battery pack to take with me on long charter trips where I would not have access to a cigarette lighter. I forgot about it in my purse for over a month. I went on a long trip recently and remembered I had it once my phone was in the red. I turned on the power bank and it was still fully charged. It completely charged my phone while I was having a quick bite to eat in a fast food restaurant. Once it fully charged my phone to 100% the power bank was at 41%. It's a faster charge than anything else I plug my phone in to and the plug folds into the device when you unplug which is a good feature. It feels like solid quality and has settings for screen display time and brightness, and a choice for just output or both input-output. It's compact enough to keep in my purse without taking too much space - obviously since I forgot it was there. (Its slightly shorter than my phone.) I think it's possible to charge your phone to 100% twice before it's spent.Leer másLeer menos
